Celia Chambers – BSc Psychology (1st class), MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, BACP Registered
A warm welcome to my new website – thank you for visiting.
I am now offering counselling sessions for individuals, couples and families from the beautiful Southernhay Clinic in Exeter.
I also have a separate ABA service, working with you and your child to bring about effective and socially significant changes.
I am an ABA consultant and student counsellor with over ten years’ experience of working with autism and learning disabilities, applying the scientific principles of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis). I have completed four years of training in Transactional Analysis, with additional training in acceptance and commitment therapy, humanistic counselling skills, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and working with couples.
Since the start of 2016, I have also been Chair of the Research Committee at the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA), supporting members in applying the scientific principles of research to improve their everyday practice.
Please scroll down to find out more about how I can help you.
I am an approachable and professional counsellor, offering therapy sessions from the Southernhay Clinic in Exeter.
I offer a warm and non-judgmental space for talking, feeling and thinking about whatever you’d like to bring – be that depression, loss, trauma, anxiety, career, family problems, or any other issue.
Therapy can be brief, short-term or long-term and can be arranged with individuals (£40 per session*), couples (£70 per session*) or families (£80 per session*). My usual days at the Southernhay Clinic are Mondays and Tuesdays, though there may be scope to arrange appointments at other times on an individual basis.
(* Rates applicable until January 2018.)

Please note: In accordance with the 2016 BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behaviour Analysts (point 8.01b), therapeutic interventions will not be behaviour-analytic in nature unless specified otherwise.
